Central Valley Habitat for Humanity

Central Valley Habitat for Humanity is a local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity that serves Harrisonburg & Rockingham County, VA. We have been building affordable housing for low-income families since 1989. We partner with families, not giving them handouts but "hand-ups." Families in Habitat homes give 200-400 hours of their time to earn sweat equity hours. Families can earn these hours by helping build their own home, someone else's home, or doing various volunteer opportunities with our organization that serves our mission of building homes, community and hope.

Build affordable housing for those that need a hand up, build community and build hope. Our ReStore and Critical Home Repair initiatives are also core ways that we serve the Harrisonburg and Rockingham County community.
