Non-Profit Community Action Program that serves the surrounding Counties of Carroll, Grayson and the City of Galax residents. We envision a vibrant community in which every person thrives; our mission is to provide people with resources to thrive through progressive growth and we value Progressive growth, every person, compassionate commitment and community.

We have several Programs:

• Housing Voucher Program & VIDA program.
• Weatherization Program
• Senior Involvement Program
• Headstart and Early Head Start Program
• VITA volunteer income tax program (seasonal)
• We also have the outreach for whole family initiative and our pilot Diaper Program through the Community and Family Support Department
